He told me about being in the center grounds at the Kentucky Derby and how he came to Seattle with his boyfriend who promptly dumped him. And could he crash on the couch? We've been pals since then. He was just everywhere: at the Rocket, at OTB, at Fantagraphics when they moved to town. He would move away, he would come back. He was generous and funny and a true true friend.SJ Kurtzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04871599515352715171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6633621665763939304.post-79106995099786881042012-03-12T16:32:39.376-05:002012-03-12T16:32:39.376-05:00dale- i miss you already. i am so glad i got to se...dale- i miss you already. i am so glad i got to see ou and misha at your mom's funeral. seattle just won't be the same without you even tho u moved to oakland.ginnynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6633621665763939304.post-11474067721965513532012-03-12T05:55:30.027-05:002012-03-12T05:55:30.027-05:00Yes! That's why, even though I am not a designer, I consider Dale a mentor--a mentor in taste.
