Foreign Policy magazine has
an amusing slideshow of the "World's Ugliest Statues." I disagree with their judgments--the statues they show are pretty ugly, but they aren't the ugliest. What they really are is ugly, grandiose, and absurd. But I have to agree that the one pictured below is possibly the ugliest statue in America.

Yes, ugly ... corroded metal. I think I worked on something similar when I was a welder's helper in my early 20s.
